Live Event Logistics is pleased to announce the successful acquisition of Reel Freight Solutions. Reel Freight have been delivering specialised freight and logistics solutions across an extensive portfolio of feature films and television productions for over 22 years.

 

This strategic move marks another significant milestone in Live Event Logistics growth strategy and reinforces its commitment to providing bespoke, comprehensive logistics services to clients across all sectors of the entertainment industry.

 

Chris Woods, CEO said “LIVE was established in response to a growing demand that I saw to provide an enhanced, end to end freight and logistics offering to the entertainment market, with an initial focus on music touring.

 

Over time the business has expanded exponentially to service the specific and unique requirements of our clients across a range of live event verticals including music, production, theatre, broadcasting, sport, and experiential marketing.

 

We have worked with Reel Freight for some time and long respected the level of expertise, and reputation that John McGowen and Mark Flynn have carved out specifically across the film and TV markets. With the support of government funding there continues to be a strong demand for international productions to film in Australia, alongside the investment in, and appetite for development of domestic content.

 

There exists a unique opportunity to overlay the expertise in film logistics that Reel Freight provide, with the growing and global scope that LIVE has now established, and really take our collective logistics offering for film and TV to the next level.”

 

The acquisition of Reel Freight follows the purchase of Roadpro Event Services by Live Event Logistics in January 2023.
