Live Event Logistics Complete Roadpro Purchase

 

LIVE EVENT LOGISTICS IS THRILLED TO ANNOUNCE IT HAS COMPLETED THE PURCHASE OF ROADPRO EVENT SERVICES.

The acquisition is the latest chapter in a strong growth story for Live Event Logistics since launching in 2017.

Roadpro have proudly been supplying touring logistics, container storage and handling to the event industry for over 30 years and currently service a strong portfolio of clients with an emphasis on the performing arts.

Chris Woods, Director Live Event Logistics said “Roadpro have built an impressive brand around a profitable and reputable business, and we are looking forward to respectfully bringing the two entities together.

We have a firm strategy for long term growth. In 2021 there was a core shift in the entertainment trucking and freight market. Through our partnership with TCB Trans, we have steadily been building our resources and fleet to be better equipped to service the needs of our clients and the broader industry.

The opportunity to bring Roadpro into the Live offering was one that aligned immediately with focus on expanding our trucking operation and presence along the east coast.

We now share a combined fleet to over 20 trucks, including 10 trailers ranging from 34′ to 48′. Our partnership with TCB Trans continues to support this expanded fleet. The scale of their operation allows them to run in-house mechanics with dedicated truck and trailer servicing, with yards and warehouses across the east coast. 

The acquisition of Roadpro is another layer in our commitment to invest in resources and expertise in our part of the live event industry. The synergies in the way that we operate and service our clients, coupled with their expertise, and presence in Queensland will be a great asset in strengthening our combined position down the East Coast, and in servicing our clients across the country and around the world.”

The existing Live Event Logistics and Roadpro Event Services teams will continue to operate business as usual under the directorship of Chris Woods.
